Saw this article just now... President's opinion of Kanye West sparks debate
I thought it was topical. It brings up journalistic ethics and twitter. The question that is brought up toward the end is whether or not the president should be able to speak "off record," and I thought it was a good question as well as the implecations of how news media is getting left in the dust by technology.Personally, I think he was a jackass too!

Clarification: by he, I mean West.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. The President is a regular person too....who has his own thoughts. I personally think it's funny that he said that. It just shows me that Obama is real person too. It seems that the president really is never off the record, but I think it's ok for him to commment on something like that. Kanye West really should have just not said a word...and on national television. That just makes him stupid....or maybe he was just drunk.hahaha lol
ReplyDeleteI really doubt that Obama didn't realize what he was saying, or at that he didn't mean for it to be heard.
ReplyDeleteI actually find it interesting that the "leak" is being attributed to a competing news organization, when the presence of those employees was obvious to all there.
